Many of our customers ask for ideas on how to utilise toothpick flags to maximise their promotional potential, so we've put together a few hints & ideas to assist everyone;

1. Use the best possible version of your logo. This is basic branding, but our print will only be as good as the logo that's provided. If we are ever concerned about the quality of the logo or the design, we will always let you know, but try to supply your logo in vector EPS format. If you can't supply in this format, then a high resolution PDF file is generally adequate. We print the flags digitally so PMS colours are matched as close as possible.

2. Beyond their practical application, Toothpick Flags are a fun and quirky product, so try to have fun. There are two sides to the flag so use both sides to advertise your message. Whether it's corporate branding on one side, with a tagline or offer on the other. Also consider a die-cut design, like a bite mark out of one corner of the flag. 

3. Consider utilising multiple messages throughout the print run, to target different markets, or to test variable messages (the minimum is 300 pieces per design).

4. Use your Toothpick Flags like a coupon! Have you thought about turning your toothpick flags into a coupon or promotional centrepiece? The flag can be removed by the recipient and kept and presented as a voucher or coupon redeemable instantly, or redeemable within a certain period. Imagine giving your customer a reason to return to your cafe or restaurant.

5. Do you have a brand that you can use to cross promote or halve the cost of your Toothpick Flags? Some larger brands have thousands of promotional dollars that they can use to increase sales of their products with their customers outlets. You never know, and it's a win win for everyone.
